A support group is a wonderful way for a person to talk about their methadone withdrawal symptoms, worries and pains. They will be able to share and hear stories about the recovery process. When a person has a support group to be a part of, they will feel less likely to be judged and able to recover quicker. Also, a support group is a great way to get lots of positive reinforcement that they will need.
